ANOTHER LITTLE CHAIR REDO {and printing on fabric}

I got this chair, along with a few others, that I have been waiting to redo because I was DYING to add a little something special with a graphic from the Graphics Fairy  she is AMAZING!!!! There are SO many wonderful things to choose (and are FREE) from that I just couldn't decide. So today I thought, enough with being indecisive and this was the winner...

In doing my research I knew that I could print this and use a chemical that would transfer it onto the fabric, but of course I didn't have it. I also read a couple different blogs that say you can print it directly onto the fabric by running your fabric through the printer. My first attempt didn't work (I think my fabric was too thick). So I decided on a thin linen and used self adhesive laminating film to make the fabric stiff enough to go through the printer....AHHHHH....it worked!!!
As for the fabric that I used to cover the seat, I had a large antique linen napkin and sewed the graphic onto the linen. I have to say, I'm a little impressed that it worked!!!
I'm sorry that I didn't take pictures of that process, but this is what it looks like....

and this is what the chair looks like....

I wished that you could see the graphic better from this view

I didn't prime the chair first because I loved the dark finish on it, so I just sanded it a little. Sprayed it with Rustoleum's Pistachio  (2 coats) and distressed it using my new orbital sander (LOVE IT) and waxed it with Minwax clear wax. The color of the linen in sort of hard to see, but it is a soft butter cream sort of yellow. I just love how this chair has a great vintage feel!

AND ANOTHER BEFORE AND AFTER
